Terms of use

The terms for the Enhex website, platform and Excel add-in.

Last updated 29 October 2026

1. These terms

These terms apply to the enhex.com website, the Enhex platform and the Enhex add-in for Microsoft Excel, provided by Enhex LLC ("Enhex", "we"). By using them you agree to these terms.

If your company has signed an agreement or order form with Enhex, that agreement applies to your company's use of Enhex and takes priority over these terms where they differ.

2. Accounts

  • Enhex accounts are by invitation only. Your company's administrators invite users, set their roles and can deactivate them.
  • Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell your administrator or Enhex straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
  • Your company's plan sets how many people can have access (active users and pending invitations) and, for a trial, the date the trial ends. When a trial ends, access stops until the plan is continued.
  • We may suspend an account or a company's access if these terms are broken, if fees due are not paid, or to protect the service or other users.

3. Acceptable use

  • Use Enhex only for your company's own business, and in line with the law.
  • Do not try to reach another company's data, get around access controls or usage limits, or test the security of Enhex without our written permission.
  • Do not copy, resell or redistribute Enhex market data, price lists or benchmarks outside your company, or collect them by automated means.
  • Do not copy, reverse engineer or build a competing product from the Enhex software, or upload anything harmful.

4. Your data

Your files and your company's results remain yours. Files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded. You allow Enhex to store and use the results your users confirm only to provide the service to your company, and, if your administrators opt in, to include them in anonymised benchmark bands.

How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.

5. Market data and decision support

  • Enhex provides decision support. It is not investment, trading, legal, tax or accounting advice.
  • Market prices may be delayed and come from public sources. Forecasts, ranges and suggested actions are estimates. Decisions on contracts, bookings and spend remain yours.
  • Enhex does not store or manage contracts and does not run procurement processes such as proposal scoring or supplier award; these remain in your own systems.

6. Excel add-in and connected services

  • The Enhex add-in runs inside Microsoft Excel under these terms; Microsoft's own terms apply to Excel and Microsoft 365.
  • When you connect Microsoft 365 or Azure, you sign in to your own Microsoft tenant and your administrator approves the access. Microsoft's terms apply to that sign-in, and you can withdraw the approval at any time.

7. Our service

  • The Enhex software, documents, designs and market data belong to Enhex or its licensors. You may use them under these terms while your company has access.
  • We work to keep Enhex available and accurate, and we improve it over time, so features can change. The service is provided as it is, without promises that it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors.
  • As far as the law allows, Enhex is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, savings or data, and its total liability is limited to the fees your company paid Enhex in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Ending use

Your company can stop using Enhex at any time; access then ends and account data is deleted as described in the privacy policy. Sections on your data, our service and liability continue to apply.

9. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use Enhex after a change means you accept the new terms.
